Forks Over Knives

I have recently come across and watched another documentary movie. I think this movie has a lot of great raw data that anyone with IBD can use to their advantage. While the raw data presented is rather wonderful, the conclusions that are drawn are somewhat general and short sighted in relation to anyone with some form of IBD. The name of the movie is "Forks Over Knives" and is a movie that I would recommend anyone to see. I will be using the raw data presented and incorporating it into my own set of rules.

For anyone that follows the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and has read the book, Breaking the Vicious Cycle, you will find that there are many similarities. You will also notice that where the two strains of thought differ, they differ greatly. Like the other movies I have recommended, it is easily found on Netflix.

  1. I haven't watched it, so I don't know the specifics of the diet, but what's its take on raw vegetables? Because I know a lot of people with IBD can't eat raw veggies.

  2. The diet forsakes anything that is animal based in favor of plant based items. In addition, it also forsakes anything that is processed in favor of whole foods. I agree with your comment on the raw veggies. I like the movie more for its raw data than its conclusions. It is a good supplement for data and supports the fact that we should stay away from processed items. I think that the assertion that meat is a dense food is on point, but that is a positive thing in my mind.

  3. Fired blades offer a clay cutting edge which has uncommon virtue. The surface of the clay sharp edge is impervious to kitchen acids, salts and oils and opposes germs. This makes the blade simple to clean. fish filleting knife for sale
